The Indianapolis Colts signed offensive guard Brandon Barnes to a contract. Barnes, a member of the 2008 draft class, was signed by the Baltimore Ravens last April after the draft but was released in late June 2008.

Barnes attended Grand Valley State University. He's the fifth interior linemen the Colts have added from the draft class of 2008. He joins Mike Pollak, Steve Justice, Jamey Richard and Kyle DeVan on the Indianapolis roster.
