Fowler Signed to Practice Squad

Eric Fowler has yet to stop playing football since he left GVSU. One of the best receivers in Laker history, he has bounced around between the NFL and Arena League. This week, he got another shot at the big leagues as another NFL team came calling.

GVReport has learned that former GVSU WR Eric Fowler has been signed to the St. Louis Rams' practice squad.

Fowler was with the Steelers all through training camp and preseason and made a good impression, but was cut just prior to the season.

He then signed with the Grand Rapids Rampage, but with this signing, will be on their "other league exempt" list.

GVReport will continue to track Fowler and other GVSU alums in the NFL.
